12:48 pm: [public] Movie
I think I finally decided on a movie to see pretty soon.

I want to see "Wedding Crashers" because my friends-list are stating that this movie is funnier than they had expected. I need to see a movie like that, so if I have some time to go this week or next week, I might go see it, especially since Rachel McAdams is in it.

Wasn't Rachel McAdams the one in the movie "The Notebook" ???

I still haven't seen The Notebook yet and I want to real bad.

12:59 am: [public] Work
I worked 14.75 hours continuous on Tuesday the 7th.

It's a good thing that I have a desk job.

I sometimes get a headache from using the KVM (keyboard-video-mouse) switch because I have two computers with one monitor and sometimes I have to constantly switch between my two computers.

01:25 am: [public] About Time
I have not made a public entry in a long time.

I think this hurricane season will be worse than 2004. I have no idea why I feel this way. I just know it.

Oh, and on my way home tonight, I stopped by Panama City Toyota and they had a 2003 Infiniti G35 4-door sedan with a six-speed manual transmission. It looks really good but it's too small for me.

I also stopped by Bay Lincoln Mercury Dodge to look at a Lincoln Town Car for the "L" series which is a longer wheelbase than standard models by six inches for more rear leg room. They did not have any "L" series, but they do exist in motors.ebay.com. One reason I want a Town Car is because of its size. If I ever get in a car accident in a Town Car, I have the best chance of getting out of the wreck alive and well. Ebay had a listing for a 2003 Town Car "L" model in Houston for only $25,000 and I think the selling price is reasonable.

May 2005 is almost over and I do not have to work on the 30th. Sometimes I do not like working 70 hours a week. Someone please rescue me.

I do not think FOX will air Point Pleasant on the 24th due to American Idol's problems on the 22nd and subsequent redo tonight. I will set the VCR anyway.

07:17 pm: [public] This is Funny
I received this at work today. They're so funny.

Why We Love Children

1. A kindergarten pupil told his teacher he'd found a cat, but it was dead.
"How do you know that the cat was dead?" she asked her pupil.
"Because I pissed in its ear and it didn't move," answered the child innocently.
You did WHAT ? ! ?" the teacher exclaimed in surprise.
"You know,"explained the boy, "I leaned over and went 'Pssst!' and it didn't move."

2. A small boy is sent to bed by his father.
Five minutes later....."Da-ad...."
"What?"
"I'm thirsty. Can you bring drink of water?"
"No, You had your chance. Lights out."
Five minutes later: "Da-aaaad....."
"WHAT?"
"I'm THIRSTY. Can I have a drink of water??"
I told you NO! If you ask again, I'll have to spank you!!"
Five minutes later......"Daaaa-aaaad....."
"WHAT!"
"When you come in to spank me, can you bring a drink of water?"

3. An exasperated mother, whose son was always getting into mischief, finally asked him "How do you expect to get into Heaven?"
The boy thought it over and said, Well, I'll run in and out and in and out and keep slamming the door until St. Peter says, 'For Heaven's sake, Dylan, come in or stay out!'"

4. One summer evening during a violent thunderstorm a mother was tucking her son into bed. She was about to turn off the light when he asked with a tremor in his voice, "Mommy, will you sleep with me tonight?" The mother smiled and gave him a reassuring hug. "I can't dear," she said. "I have to sleep in Daddy's room." A long silence was broken at last by his shaky little voice: "The big sissy."

5. It was that time, during the Sunday morning service, for the children's sermon. All the children were invited to come forward. One little girl was wearing a particularly pretty dress and, as she sat down, the pastor leaned over and said, "That is a very pretty dress. Is it your Easter Dress?" The little girl replied, directly into the pastor's clip-on microphone, "Yes, and my Mom says it's a bitch to iron."

6. When I was six months pregnant with my third child, my three year old came into the room when I was just getting ready to get into the shower.
She said, "Mommy, you are getting fat!"
I replied, "Yes, honey, remember Mommy has a baby growing in her tummy."
"I know," she replied, but what's growing in your butt?"

7. A little boy was doing his math homework. He said to himself,
"Two plus five, that son of a bitch is seven.
Three plus six, that son of a bitch is nine...."
His mother heard what he was saying and gasped, "What are you doing?"
The little boy answered, "I'm doing my math homework, Mom."
"And this is how your teacher taught you to do it?" the mother asked.
"Yes," he answered.
Infuriated, the mother asked the teacher the next day, "What are you teaching my son in math?"
The teacher replied, "Right now, we are learning addition."
The mother asked, "And are you teaching them to say two plus two, that son of a bitch is four?"
After the teacher stopped laughing, she answered, "What I taught them was, two plus two, THE SUM OF WHICH, is four."

8. One day the first grade teacher was reading the story of Chicken Little to her class. She came to the part of the story where Chicken Little tried to warn the farmer. She read, ".... and so Chicken Little went up to the farmer and said, "The sky is falling, the sky is falling!"
The teacher paused then asked the class, "And what do you think that farmer said?"
One little girl raised her hand and said, "I think he said: 'Holy Shit! A talking chicken!'"
The teacher was unable to teach for the next 10 minutes.

9. A certain little girl, when asked her name, would reply, "I'm Mr. Sugarbrown's daughter."
Her mother told her this was wrong, she must say, "I'm Jane Sugarbrown."
The Vicar spoke to her in Sunday School, and said, "Aren't you Mr. Sugarbrown's daughter?"
She replied, "I thought I was, but mother says I'm not."

10. A little girl asked her mother, "Can I go outside and play with the boys?"
Her mother replied, "No, you can't play with the boys, they're too rough."
The little girl thought about it for a few moments and asked, "If I can find a smooth one, can I play with him?"

11. A little girl goes to the barber shop with her father.
She stands next to the barber chair, while her dad gets his hair cut, eating a snack cake.
The barber says to her, "Sweetheart, you're gonna get hair on your Twinkie."
She says, "Yes, I know, and I'm gonna get boobs too."

11:11 pm: [public] Fuel Prices
Just earlier today, the gas price for a premium fuel at Amoco (Store #224), in Lynn Haven, was $2.049 per gallon ($1.849 for regular) this afternoon and when I went home at night, the gas price was $2.179 per gallon of premium fuel. That's a huge increase for the spring break weekend! But I must admit that consuming premium fuel makes a positive difference on the engine.

11:08 pm: [public] Point Pleasant
I miss Point Pleasant already! Hopefully, we will get an all-new episode next Thursday night on FOX at 9/8c!

Just a reminder that Point Pleasant will not air on 02/24/2005. I may actually watch The Apprentice since PP isn't on Thursday night, but I have a class on Thursday nights, so I'll hurry home tomorrow night after class.

The one thing I really like about Mozilla Firefox is when you reload the current page, any changes will show up instantly without blinking. I guess that depends on the page because other pages blink when you reload them.

10:56 pm: [public] CDs by Ciara ("One Two Step" and "Goodies")
I need to get that single CD of "One Two Step" by Ciara who also sings "Goodies" all over the radio waves.

I wonder how difficult it is to find an instrumental version of these two songs. I will look it up when I have some spare time.

10:02 pm: [public] Busy Day Today
Today during work, I made some telephone calls to take care of my Roth IRA for the 2005 calendar year and I went to the college afterwards to register for "Consumer Lending" class. Our first day back from holiday was okay.

06:21 pm: Microsoft Windows - Restore vs. Maximize
I forgot to say this on Christmas morning regarding Microsoft Windows. Sometimes when you have your Window size set to a specific size and specific position, your operating system will remember those attributes. Sometimes, when you "Restore" your window back to your specified size and position, the program does not show anything, as if it is transparent, but if you "Maximize" your window, your program shows properly. We had a similar problem with Microsoft Photo Editor at my primary employer where we have to set it to "Maximize" or it will not show anything if not maximized. On Christmas morning, my Netscape browser did this and it turned out that the position of the Netscape Navigator window was on the lower-right hand side of the screen outside of the displayed area. So, when I set the Netscape Navigator screen to "Restore," I used Alt-Space Bar (to trigger the upper-left corner of the application's window menu) and selected letter "M" for "Move" and I then used the keyboard's arrow keys to reposition the Navigator window. Sure enough, the window was on the lower-right side of the screen and the size of the screen was at its absolute minimum in both width and height.

I am so glad I discovered that item on Christmas morning and I cannot wait to get back to work on Tuesday to check out the Microsoft Photo Editor that never showed anything when in "Restore" state of screen size.

I just thought I should mention that because I always use the keyboard to move and resize the windows.

11:14 pm: Rainy / Need to Install Fog Lights
Today is a federal holiday (Veteran's Day) so the traffic was okay in the morning. Unfortunately, today was rainy all day long. On my way home from work, since it was still raining outside, the headlights were not bright enough, due to the reflection from the road.

I need to reinstall fog lights because they would help a lot. I will make that one of my next projects for the end of 2004, in addition to installing switches permanently, instead of dangling freely below the steering column.

10:34 am: I Just Returned from Voting
This morning, I went to the Bay County Election Center on Mosley Drive to vote. It's only 0.70 miles from where I live, so I thought, this is it. I need to vote today.

It felt nice to go there early because the date on that piece of paper showed November 2, 2004. It was nice to go ahead of time. I saw Leslie Hendrix of WMBB News 13 standing in the line behind me and on my way out, I saw Neysa (actually Juaneysa) Wilkins of WJHG News Channel 7 standing in the line also. The time that I spent during my voting was 63 minutes.

I need to get ready to go to work, so have a good Saturday!

11:45 pm: Manufacturing Annual Inventory / Books-A-Million
Today's manufacturing annual inventory went well. I am definitely looking forward to next year's inventory.

I wanted to go to the mall tonight, but I was too tired.

I may go to Books-A-Million at about seven tomorrow night.

11:51 pm: Inventory Training / Class / ATF
Today at work, I attended a training session on how to perform data entry during our annual inventory on 10/29/2004. I just wanted to know if they changed the method, and it is still exactly the same. Friday should be really interesting. During inventory, the entire factory looks like a summer camp ground with hard floors.

After work, I immediately went to class and this time, I drove the long way, which is safer, but it took me all of thirty minutes by heading south on Highway 77 and heading west on 23rd Street (instead of taking a shortcut by staying on Highway 390 all the way). We went over Chapter 5 which is "Payments" in my Principles of Bank Operations class. We found out that the instructor drives a Corvette convertible. We also talked about how Florida driver's license number represents something in the very last digit. It does not have anything to do with felony.

After class, I stopped by Wal-Mart and purchased a 4-quart bottle of automatic transmission fluid because I want to change the ATF one more time this year. Beginning in January 2005, I may use fully-synthetic automatic transmission fluid which is $6 per quart and I need three quarts every time I manually pump out the fluid.

12:57 pm: Rear Drum Brakes
My rear drum brakes are acting up again. It could also be my front brake pads. It could also have something to do with moisture in the air (it was raining very little today). I will order that digital camera so that I can begin to remove the rear drums so that I can take a look at the condition of the rear brake shoes. When removing brake components on drum brakes, it is very important to take a picture of it before disassembly, for referencing.

11:21 pm: Ciara "Goodies"
When I am home, the radio station is playing Ciara "Goodies" about once every two hours and I have to go to the living room to listen to it using my headphone or external Bose speakers. That song is pretty cool. I really need to get that single CD.

11:59 pm: Busy Busy / 1996 Mercedes-Benz S320 / 2005 Mercedes-Benz E320
Today was really boring. Work was really busy, but predictable, because I took half-day vacation yesterday. I did not get most of my work done, so I will attempt to finish it tomorrow.

On my way home, I stopped by Panama City Motors to take a drive-by look at a black 1996 Mercedes-Benz S320 long-wheelbase 4-door sedan. It had 88,000 miles on it and the asking price was nearly $19,000. That car has been in the lot for about two months now, so I finally looked at it. If it were a 1999 model and if the paint was white color, I might buy one, because 1999 model was the final production model for an S-class that used a gasoline inline-six cylinder engine.

Tonight at home, I finally saw a really nice commercial for a Mercedes-Benz E320 (gasoline model). They mentioned a starting price of $49,295 so that was pretty cool. I really liked that commercial because they showed someone using a Q-Tip to clean the E320. Rear-wheel-drive is the best.

09:44 pm: Import CD of "This is Me" by Dream
On 08/16/2004, the import CD of "This is Me" by Dream was available from CD Universe, but since I was already waiting for another CD, I did not order it.

Now, I went to CD Universe to order it and it is backordered since 09/28/2004. I knew this would happen! I waited three years for this CD and I don't think it will ever be available. But, if I receive another e-mail about its availability, I will order it on the same day.

Anyways, for reference, this is what I want:

09:38 pm: Flu Shot
Our company offers a flu shot to us every year, and this year, the flu shot is $20 and the company pays for $15 so we have to pay only $5 which is the same as last year.

The problem is that we will not get a flu shot until the end of October after we pay for it next week. I do not want to wait that long to get a flu shot, and the flu shot may not be available by then because of the 50% reduction of supplies from foreign sources.

I may just decide to go to Walgreens to get a flu shot for $20 because I think I will get sick later this year or early next year.
